Skill and jobs (tinker and book merchant)

The server should have intelligence skill!

1st job (tinker)

you find or buy items and make weapons and items of it.
they can even upgrade weapons and printers (items needed)
you can buy the items from a normal shop or by a gundealer.

effect of this job?

the normal shops that sell food, pots and knife is a bit lame..
if it sells items that thinker needs... they would earn more cash



-(new weapon) chainsaw - they can cut trough a door


2nd job (book merchant) you buy books from him to get more
Intelligent points to your skill...

Good idea or Bad idea?

They are both very good ideas, mayby the book merchant can sell various other skill books? Alot like skyrim though? Do we ant it like skyrim?

Shouldnt tinker then be merged with shop keeper, shop keeper/street seller is already pretty useless as it is

I swear to god if you make a book that increases your gun skill, Im going to hurt you. Noone learns about guns by reading on it. Same with hand-to-hand combat.

Actually, in army cadets we learn the parts of a rifle off a page, although we do have a practical example and an instructor showing us...And my uncle has a ju jitsu technique book

Unless we limit the amount of books someone can use? like 1 book a day or something?

Still farm-able, and if we make them either give you less of that skill or just cost more, normal people who wouldn't want to abuse them wouldn't use them for being useless and overpriced.
Don't make skill books.

a Solution to this is to make temporary boost on a particular skill

We need a gym so people can lift!

i dont think they have that much cash... it might cost alot to farm your skills...

If we implement books, we need a book to teach people how to read since its going serious now.
Lets also add birds and both day and night, this must be serious
