Ammo crates.

It annoys me that in dark rp ammunition is infinate (such a low price and buying from f4) Criminals gang hole up and shoot for literally hours. It is customary to buy a 100 or so rounds at first, then when you run out just aim at floor and buy some more.
I dont like that.

Im thinking that to the black market f4 menu add an entity which will restock peoples ammunition. It can also run out, then slowly accumilates more ammunition. So in a firefight a player must move away from his leet snipur windur and restock, then if it is prolonged they find they are running low on ammunition and must consider trying to escape rather than kill every1 in sight.

Tl;dr Add ammo crates instead of F4 ammo.

In other words: Weapons have limited ammo, and you must pay a blackmarket dealer to REFILL that ammo, instead of buying it yourself?

The weps I made a while back already have this. Also the longer you are "aiming" at a point for the more accurate it is. So if you suddenly turn round, or snap your aim onto something it is inaccurate. Now to just get them working again...

They also got some nice visual effects, no heat wave so they will be less laggy than the madcow and css realistic weps. More dust less heatwave.

Guns dont have much recoil anyway. Wep list at the mo is

9mm pistol - cop standard issue
357 magnum - black market, bypass cops inherit damage modifier, in short cop stopper.
9mm smg - rebel automatic, 9mm is the only easy ammo to get for rebels.
mp7 - combine smg, only available from highest black market or from cop sho.
Magnum rifle - for cop marksmen and assassins. Expensive on blackmarket, medium price for cops. Accurate and has effects like shoot in arm to make em drop gun.
Possibly Ak47 or g3 - more kick, good penetration and damage not sure bout it tho.
Lead pipe - bludgeon ppl
crowbar - see above + lock pick
stunbaton - avaialable to all, only cops can use to arrest. Easily disarms non cops.
Knife - slasher or a 1 use projectile.

I'm tryna reduce the wep list to make it more concise. the 100s of weps on csrp just bloated the cache and left ppl with loads of weps they never used. Galil anybody?

While I like the idea, I don't like gun fights...
In a proper RP situation, how would a gun fight come about? Rival gangs? Combine against a criminal?
But then if you had a gun pointed at you, fearRP takes over and you can't do anything.
So if gangA rushes into gangB's place and starts shooting, gangB can't shoot back and they all die.
Criminal shoots at combine, combine can't fight back since he/she'd probably die.

I don't understand how a firefight could break out with FearRP being such an overpowering disable factor.

Fear RP normally applies when someone's got a gun pointed at your face, asking for money. But if a gang runs in shooting, you aint going to sit like a bitch and take bullets, right?

I like the idea of this; when I was a cop on this server there was a raid on the PD and they literally stayed there for almost a full 30 minutes until we killed them.

If someone is pointing a gun at you fearrp applies. Even if you don't know it or you had a gun pointed at them first, in this scenario the best plan of action is to turn off ur pc with the power button.
