Witness timer

I think if a cop actually saw somone do a murder, gave chase, but never actually managed to catch up to the murderer, i think he can remember the name, for like..
5 minutes say? And then if he doesnt see him until after that timer, if he arrests the offender, it is a random arrest.
Just so it stops cops from seeing somone once, then waiting until they are at ease, and unarmed, to just pounce on them.

+1 If they were to escape the cop but die, the cop doesn't know that. The cop arrests them and then a rant about NLR starts.

Sorry but I don't think cops randomly get amnesia after 5mins in real life.

Fair enough deal.
I just personally thought that because the in game time is longer than ooc time (i think?) it might of made more sense. But alright.
I can see where you're coming from (If youve ever played with Fahrenheit Indigo prophecy, theres a scene which kinda is about this. ;l)

People will take advantage. Kill a buncha people including cops and mayor. Then run into sewer for 5 minutes. Then come out and rage/whine/admiin11!!!! when they get arrested for mass murder.

No worries, It would be cool for hitmen to be able to have a "face operation" so nobody recognises them but again I fear people would misuse it, instead of usin it for rp they would use it for power/script play to get an advantage over others.

Could make hitman an exclusive job, and there could be a thing you buy, and it could stop a name appearing above your head for say.. 5 minutes.

Thatd be cool.

there was a game i used to play, haven and hearth and you had to look at someone for a few mins to get their name. When they wore a bandit mask/hood it took longer to recognise them. Might work.

you could still go off their clothes and the fact theyre wearing a mask tho Very Happy

xD. Thats where the tailor thing comes in, when you implement it. And tbh,Different outfits would work with different hits. I mean a CP outfit to kill the mayor plox.

But yeah, going off of clothes maybe. But shrug. Im a bald guy. ;P
So.. If there was an implemented way for hitmen to hide name. thatd be awesome. And different outfits available..
But yeah. as its kind of a 'touchy' job.
Could make it exclusive (as i said) to some people.
And maybe, i could write up a draft of rules for hitmen maybe?
