we should make it so groups on job list like french fags and rons trannies should be join-able by steam id only. so only member can join

Re: groups via steam id
I thought about doing that before but never spoke to Ron about it, because if I was Ron, I dont think I could be bothered to add every members steam ID to their job. :/ Very time consuming.
In my opinion we should really remove the jobs and just stick to /Job command.

Re: groups via steam id
I would have to do this for every group, which I really can't be bothered doing since I would need to keep updating it as well, so I have just made it so trusted + can join the groups, so people wont be joining who aren't part of that group, and admins can set the other players to join by doing rp_blackhawk in console.
"customCheck = function(ply) return ply:GetUserID() == "IDHere" or ply:IsAdmin() or ply:GetUserID() == "IDHere" or ply:GetUserID() == "IDHere"or ply:GetUserID() == "IDHere"or ply:GetUserID() == "IDHere"or ply:GetUserID() == "IDHere" end"
I would have to do something like that for every group and I can't be bothered

Re: groups via steam id
Yeah ron got it right there. I've been toying round with ideas for each player being restricted to 1 of the custom groups. The sql stuff i been doing at work would make it easy enough to do in theory, also being able to generate new "groups" in runtime.
Till i do that ron knows how to resistrct to id so its up to him.
With the sql thing it would also be possible to properly administrate group membership online, prehaps even by the "boss" of that group.
Another thing I was looking at it a html parser to take memebrs of a steam group and give them certain permissions.
