people need to be more strict on applications for these cause atm ppl just copying what other ppl put to get in. make it so everyone needs to think about it and not just copy and paste what the last person did

That and make getting a group CREATED much stricter imo.
Seems like groups are getting accepted left and right. I think a group concept should get voted for by people or admins, just like an application for mod, etc.
That way we wont have 1000 custom groups with 3 members in each.

1000 groups? I think you need to recount. Everyone that was accepted were/are members of staff who have been with us for a long time. All the groups have a good job purpose, and have trusted members behind them. How exactly could I have of been 'stricter' with them reasons behind it.
I also see the point system useless, as everyone at the minute seems to follow the 'flow' of the topic, as explained by sewer slug in a this topic (if you bothered to read it). I highly doubt any of the groups would have of received negative ratings as it is.
I know where to deny topics, and be stricter, but the groups that were requested deserved to be accepted.

I am not saying that we already have 1000 groups
I am just saying it is a way to prevent there getting "that many" in the near future
