Upcoming update

All being well I plan to release a little something in the next few days.

Printers will require batteries and will no longer explode. Low battery printers will spark, so keep it well maintained for stealth.

Batteries will be purchasable from shopkeeper for 100 each.
In my tests I've had each battery make between 21 and 400+ dollars from the printer so its abit of a gamble to use bought batteries.

There is another way however, to "hack" combine tech with a crowbar. This will cause it to spark and is illegal, also takes time so youll have to be stealthy.

Now for the question.

How many combine tech (battery places) should there be and how long should the time cooldown be?

There will also be a method to produce batteries from a generator which would be noisey and again a gamble on how many batteries a fuel tank would produce.

What about donater printers then? Take platinum printer as an example, it produces 1000$ each time it spits out money, would you have to change battery half way through its process of making money? Or each time it produces money?

Does this mean that moneyprinters are legal if they aren't hacked? Or is this up to the mayor

I reckon, three combine tech areas,
with a 10-30min cooldown rate.
One around PD, one in sewers somewhere,
and one in factory area.
Would 'inspire' the police to actually have a 1-2man patrol in sewer area.
Or make it randomly spawn around the map, like theres been a weird airdrop over the city. ;P

Hobos need knifes! then the sewers shall be populated
I want to be able to hit someone with a large pipe/pole that does daze damage and knocks them back without rag-dolling them (just made this up)

Lol you people are obsessed with knives.

I fixed up the world props thing, to slugs delight he won't need to remove props anymore either. Knocking up a means of saving entities so I can save the combine battery things and that should be ready to go.

Well i did plan on mkaing them throwable but itd be more for a "daze" thing. Deffo no 1 hit kill.

Like imagine being hit by a knife ud panic abit, in that time the guy slips away

Should have a damage/distance calculator thing.
If its within like 10m, and its from behind, i think it should do a rather large chunk of damage atleast though lol.

When I get to weapons I'll be focusing less on death. Death will be like a 50% thing. People killing for no reason will be easier to punish sice it will be harder to kill people and its more obvious than "I accidentally your life" Focussing on incapacitation. Shoot/hit arm and they drop weapon type thing. In melee wound em till they do no damage then knockout/arrest/escape.

Main advantage to knife will be damage no scaled to hp. So its a last chance thing more than "uber ass-ass-in fags"

Thats a while off tho, I wanna get this battery economy established to give criminals something other to do.

Can't promise bleeding damage, might be a lil expensive.

Loop thru all players, see if player is "bleeding" then do damage to them. Repeat.

I dunno can try it WHEN I GET ONTO KNIVES which is not yet.
