Idea for the new map

In the new map, how about having street names or somthing along those lines to make it easier to describe to someone where you are? So instead of everyone having to go to the fountain because they dont know which trainyard someone is talking about, they can just say meet at first street or whatever.

I agree. This would make communication much easier, so new players wouldn't be wandering the city aimlessly, looking for their friends.

true but street names = imported models = big download, and no one wants a giant download. ill make land marks tho

Well there is that perma text tool. Admin only.
Place a few text things around. Backstreet, ghetto, warehouses, Metro etc then make it unavailable to be used. Itd be kinda like hl2rp text things.

The more simple the better, most people didn't know where the Foto apartments were on CSRP server, the only real named place :I

realistic horse statue prop used in half life cities, MAC MAN sign, all kinds of props that could be used for landmarks

Landmarks are one thing, unrealistic silly props are another. Maybe we should just stick to text tool fulcrum discussed
