Okay so currently we have two ideas on how the guns should work.

The current one


All guns are shipments only, and guns are very expensive.
This discourages the use of guns in the game and allows people to RP as they wish without the fear of getting shot, but also reduces the usability of the gun dealer, BMD and all gang jobs.

The other way


This is how I feel it should be, pistols will be sold in both shipments and in singles, however the singles will be very pricey e.g 1k for a deagle but not as pricey as a shipment which proportionally is cheaper than buying singles.
This still keeps less guns in the game but allows the BMD and gun dealers to be able to afford to sell at least some weapons, and allows gangs to buy weapons and do as they wish.
This however removes the sense of risk from the gun dealers and doesn't allow the gangs and crooks to raid them with a decent reward.

please give us your feedback on both of these and tell us any improvements that we can make to get them to suit you.

I do like your other idea

However is there a way of having different stock numbers in shipments, as in you know you can be on for however long and so you sell 5.
So 5s 10s and 15s however price of Shipment of 5 is upped? to similar of 10 so its like limited edition guns

I am supportive of this idea too. And then make selling a shipment of 15 guns give a larger profit than selling a shipment of 5 guns but make the 5 gun shipment cheaper

Example:
(if deagle was 1000$ single)
5 deagle shipment: 4500$
10 deagle shipment: 8000$
15 deagle shipment: 10000$
Or something like that
Profit keeps getting bigger
But you also take a larger risk by buying a huge shipment
(Larger risk of it getting stolen, larger risk of you not making profit if you dont sell all the guns)

Today we had people leaving the server cause there was no way for any gangs to get guns. Nobody would become gun dealer and those that did quickly changed when they saw there were no singles they could afford. This system we currently have needs a fix, cause crooks and gangs cease to exist unless gang members are all incredibly wealthy

i can second that

the server was almost full but there was no gundealer.
i think its basicly because 70% of the gundealers are newbies who sell pistols/ whole shipments and are afraid of being robbed of items worth more of 7k

on the other side,the only things most gangs/mobs do these days are mugging and raiding , wich requires guns.
so most people think a mob without a arsenal of guns(no gundealer) isnt a good mob and go do something else

Yeah, but problem is with shipments, if its a good weapon-
you likely wont be able t sell them all, and with a profit.
so when you go offline, you're gonna make a loss on them anyway.
Gundealer is dodgy.

How about small size shipments of 5. Half price of normal shipment. So an Ar costs around 1500 each, shipment of 5 is 7500, seems reasonable to me. Make pistols signifcantly cheaper with the glock being around 2500 for a shipment of 5?

So we keep powerful weapons off the street but people have the option of getting a gun still, what is 2500 anyway u couldn't even get a printer for that.

I really dont think the Ar2 should be buyable. Too op for a gang, but good for super combine soldier.

I want single guns available still...Its super annoying if your going crook and you have to buy a whole damn shipment because the gundealers are either too poor or too pussy to buy one for themselves and then some fag gang comes and raids you. There's 4 of them and one of you and BOOM you just lost 4k. Seriously I had to pay 4k for p228's.

True yesterday no1 got any guns the entire day. Why didn't the gundealers use gunlabs?

How bout a temporary npc selling expensive singles?
Gundealer comes along buys in bulk and can undercut the price?

Because when a 9 year old comes on the server, he either goes Gun Dealer or Cop (Unless 501St.) so because they're 9 they don't know what a gunlab is.

I only see one problem in having everything in shipments. People are so carefull and a bit gay about their money, so no one goes Gun dealer. That means gang jobs are ruined and cartel etc. I had to leave yesterday after trying to get a gun dealer several times. It could grow to a quite big problem.

In the ideal world where people could roleplay ppl would roleplay that shit. On tnb etc ppl hate the powerful guns for "scriptplay" since it lets people win everytime. Playing the script not the game.

Edit: I plan (when i get onto knvies ns tuff) to make headshots invoke a critical (knockout, stun, drop weapon) insteead of kill. Death should be rarer but defeat would still be aparent.

That seems to work.
It's just that it seems kind of stupid shooting someone in the head with a gun doesn't do a lot of damage. It kind of makes people spam pistols instead of think about where they are shooting

Also could you possibly add something for getting shot in the leg? Like getting slowed by x% (or even get knocked down, might be op though)
So cops dont have to shoot people DEAD when they resist arrest (if that is how the cops does his thing)

EDIT: I just came into a gunstore with 2 gundealers, they refused to sell me guns in singles lol. This REALLY needs to be changed. I don't want to buy a whole shipment of guns as a hitman, wtf?

I picked the first option - prevents kids from pew pewing and also really supports the melee weapons idea which was presented by fulcrum before release of the server.

Yea, once melee weapons are in I couldn't care less about guns I will never buy them, I will be back to being the Slitter.
