Hardly applicable until we have a day/night system
Otherwise, when does time affect the server?

Ok, so
1) For Hostage Situations; "you have until 12:00 to give us the money before his head goes boom"

2) Time period for when a shop is open

3) Timing for Hits; "i want him dead at 4:00

I misread the title...good idea anyway but it would have to be with a day/night system unless downtown in based in Northern Scandinavia or Russia.

And an IC one would only really fit RP with a system that functions a different between day and night.

Someone already gave about 3 different examples in which the clock can be used without the day and night system.

Indeed, but none of them are really valid without a day/night system. As most people just walk out of their stores at random times. The hit one is good, yes, but you might as well use the Shift+Tab function, and give them a period of time to have done it by.

And the hostage situations, people normally just say... '5mins til he dies'
then they never do it ;P

Heads and owners aren't always online you know. They have lives outside gaming too.
