Demote Mayor on death?

Simple.

Just temporary till darkrp is stable.

I think it would keep things interesting.

Voted yes, but how will RDM and prop killers be stoped from making the mayor get demoted fast'n'easy?

Another thing is if the mayor doesn't like a cop demote the cop or fire him
Firing for = demote

To stop minges, actually do your job mayors. Don't be a little cop, sit in your office, have people invited, have expensive dinners on our tax dollars, stuff like that.

I think this should be added to your script fulc. Would be interesting. Mayor have to be more careful, use his office etc.

Seriously if some mobsters repeatedly kill the mayor and stop ppl playing mayor I will BAN EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!

Thats when you do your job and promote those who were RDM'd back to mayor. Dont be lazy Daniel.

Possibly do the same with the Don/Kingpin?

Maybe have it so that when a kingpin/ don dies, one of his group will randomly become te kingpin, and the old one is demoted to either a gangster/cartel or jus citizen

Bad idea, cause job switch makes people lose their guns, I would get mad if I had a shotgun on me then my boss dies and mid-fight I get switched to Kinpin/Don, which makes me lose my gun and I cant fight back.

I could make it so people keep their guns when they're "force promoted". I'll see how popular the mayor thing is and then see if people still want the kingpin thing.

i think the mayors death make a room for new one...

it gives more reason to put a hit on the mayor..

to get his job or clean the city for laws...

Cn we get this to work with the kingpin and mobboss, and have it randomly choose a mobster/cartel to become the new one when he dies?

Regarding the kingpin thing, could you make it so when the kingpin dies, the other cartel get to decide if they want to be the next or not. Then the kingpin will be randomly selected between the cartel who voted yes.

I like this idea. Previously it was suggested that its randomly picked and instantly changed, but this gives you the option to keep your current loadout and job.

Not only when force-promoted, you should be able to keep your guns while changing jobs?
I mean, a script that knows what weapons you have by default from your job (it will, for example, count the CP's glock has default) and only remove those while adding the new ones.
All the guns that don't get notified has "default" would be kept/re given upon changing jobs

I like this idea a alot. It can even be used for the police, when the police chief dies the other members are able to choose who will be chief. Or maybe mobster and don (Which I think are related, correct me if I am wrong) they can choose too.

Naw coz I see cps getting weapons from the mayor to keep control then going gangster. Not going to happen.
