Server Closure

The server will be closing at the end of this month, due to it being dead; to put it bluntly.

The most players we have had on the server recently was 20 but it normally has around 0-7 players, and since we are paying £20 a month for a 30 slot server with this many people on Daniel and Goose (partially me) have decided to close the server down. I have had exams and usually go on Minecraft when I am not revising so have not been on the server very Frequently. Goose is just bored of Gmod in general and Daniel doesn't like the fact that nobody bothers to join.

Another reason was that over half the staff left for another server so kinda left us hanging and without members.

So a new server will be opening (Again) with just Daniel as the Owner. Ron Burgundy(Me) and Goose will be leaving permanently.
I am not sure if Daniel will change the forum name or create a new one at this time.


All Donators will be added to the new server so don't worry!(I hope so anyway)

Daniel will post a new thread about the new server that he is opening on here or on the new forum if there is one.

So thanks for all the good times we have had I guess.

MC is better imo. I enjoy it far more than RP. RP is what made us but things change. I am still not sure if JUST the Gmod server is going or all of HGRP?

sad to hear this, i had a really great time on this server and i can say the time i used on the server was worth it, youguys might not see me anymore either.

Anyway I had fun on HGRP I'm actually sad to see it go even though I have my own server now I still wouldn't want to see it go like this I've had some fun times in the past, and most of my friends on steam are from HGRP hopefully it'll be back. Simon also agrees that its sad to see it go like this.

What will happen with staff?

It's sad to see the server go, although I wasn't a player on the late stages of HGRP, I still have great memories from both it and CSRP. I still remember my first day on CSRP and my last day on HGRP, a lot has changed, but the player base was always the same, absolutely crazy and entertaining.

CSRP was the reason I got into gmod rp and I guess all good things have to come to an end, it's the same with HGRP.

Thank you all for such a great eleven months and since I won't be around for illusion gaming, I guess this is my final goodbye to you all. It's been fun.

Thanks for the great times. If I was a dick to you there was probably a reason. If I've been a dick and you believe there was no reason I too am sorry. Some great times with everyone but I guess kids get bored with the same toy and move onto another one (Minecraft).

We should have a finale where everyone comes on the server and just dicks about before it closes. NO server rules should apply. I will probably spend all 120k on cars for everyone to play in . Just an idea wouldn't advise doing it because you'll probs get banned from this one and the next one.

Well, HGRP.  You have been a good friend.  Could we set up some sort of directory for steam usernames?  I would like to add many people I have played with before to my friend list!
